Pastor Tart and his family moved to Durham in 1995, after finishing his masters degree, to serve
as chaplain at the Durham Rescue Mission. He currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of
the Durham Rescue Mission. He and his wife Lynda have been married since 1991; they have
five children (The picture above needs to be updated with the baby). Lynda is a full time
homemaker and home educates their children.

David Martin is an Elder at Grace Baptist Church. He has been married since 1991, and
is the father of two beautiful children. David works in the computer industry. He has
been with Grace Baptist Church since the beginning.

Jim Cooper is a Deacon at Grace Baptist Church. Jim is currently employed with the
Durham Rescue Mission in the IT department. He served for decades in a similar
capacity with AT&T. He and his wife Lois have five children, all grown and living in
various parts of the country. One child is a missionary. Jim has been with Grace Baptist
church since 2008.
